I know its an old thread - but the internet is forever! I just picked up a Taifun Spider P750. The frame is Tange 5, so straight gauge, but at least its branded. Components are pretty decent too so probably marketed as a mid-market bike at the time it was first sold. Looks like its hardly seen...
