I have a top pull Shimano Altus that is mounted on a plate that fastens at the bottom bracket axle rather than on the seat tube. I believe it will fit with a 44 tooth largest ring. Any good to you???

Flat??? You have got to be kidding !!!! the whole of Scunthorpe stands on an escarpment with a couple of large hills to the north and south. Somewhere good to live?? Avoid Riddings and the town centre area.

Thanks for that, I was intending to use it on a wheel build for a hack that I am going to sell cheap so didn't want to put anything on it with any pedigree.

I'd be interested in the frame and forks but as I live so far away I wouldn't be able to collect. If I could arrange a courier to collect would that be ok with you?

I was going through some old bits and pieces I have laying around and decided to strip the knackered rim out of one of em and maybe rebuild the hub into a decent rim. This hub was absolutely filthy so I sprayed its outer wit good old wd and its come up virtually spotless after only a few minutes...

Rear wheel now laced into that VP-20 rim I sourced from ebay (not trued yet though) braking surface has come up extremely shiny and now shows up the front wheel so gotta strip that to its component parts and clean it up too. Enlisted the help of Gil_m for the decals. could still do with a...
