Hm, yeah I accidently wrote 1989 instead of 1980! Don´t know if it´s 79 or 80?There´s some chart to get a date of the Dura ace stuff but I haven´t got around to it yet..
Yes, it´s a lovely ride! I remember the first time I rode it. It was so much quicker and lighter then anything else I had tried! I still think it´s awesome:-)
I bought this for my Orange C16r back in 1996 but never get round to build a wheel with it so it´s still unused.
30£ + shipping from sweden
Thanks,
Erik
My favourite bike of all time! It´s a Crescent from 1979 or 1989 with Dura Ace gears and brakes. Reynolds tubes and fork and Nervex lugs. 3ttt bar and stem. The original wheels are tubular mavics with dura ace hubs but I ride it with Campagnolo mexico clinchers. Zeus seatpost, Silca pump and KKT...
I think this is one of maybe only 2 Orange c16r that were sold in sweden. It was crazy expensive (1200£) but my insurancecompany paid most of it after my previous mtb was stolen (a boring scott). It´s 19" and has a full XT groupset, FIR wheels with XT hubs and the usual Orange sk8 stem, hot rod...
