Condition is OK, quite scratched and oxidized but threads are good. Took them apart ages ago to add new grease to the bearings and put the spindles onto the wrong pedals and haven't been bothered to swap them back. Perhaps they could be restored!
Just switched the cable routing in accordance with this. Here's what it looks like now. I don't have F/R deraileurs set up yet but I think when those are in the housing will be more straight into the ferrules.
This is what it looked like before. Its either a 90 degree bend to reach the stops with a short cable or have all this mass of cable hanging out. Is this what I'm meant to do?
Am I being stupid or is there no better way to do this? The stem is really short on this Lava Dome and I don't see a better way to route the cables onto the top tube...
