Why not put both up for sale and let the market decide? Whichever goes first means you keep the other and the decision is out of your hands.

If you're using the hubs on a steel frame I wouldn't worry about hanging the spacing, just run as they are. I used to have a steel cross frame that I built spaced at 132mm across the dropouts so that I could run either road (130mm) or MTB (135mm) hubs.
