    The ultimate Kona Jersey/Merch Thread

I don't think these have been in here yet- Kona Bikes rolling papers- I only use em in emergencies.

Does anyone know if reproduction Michelin Wildgrippers are available?

you may want to get in touch with "House of Looptail" to put in a request, maybe eventually they'll reproduce them. You're asking a tall ask.

Best of the pre V Brake Cantis... a thread that may of been done to to death

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Ritchey (unless I missed it)- I find the levers paired with their Cantis and pads to be the best feeling, best performing brake set up hands down. They're just so tight and plush, I highly recommend.

    Gt team avalanche alltera

Also for context: I sold a Team Avalanche in midnight aurora 100% original in amazing shape for $1100 Cad last year. But as stated above- your location and some drive side photos would really help this thread.

    94 Kona HOT 18"

this is interesting- I guess just mask off the decals, add splatter, then re-clear?

    94 Kona HOT 18"

There's been a few updates to the Hot, not that I have pictures of. That's not the purpose of this post. I've had this nagging urge to re-paint this Hot, but I'm on the fence of whether I should or not, so I need some help. My 94 Hot was ordered the same colour as the 94 Hahanna. I love the...

Which BB for Profile Racing cranks?

I believe either the BSA or Euro BB would work- I'd contact Profile Racing and ask them what you'd need. They're helpful, I've contacted them before. Those look the same crank as a BMX with a double/triple spider on it. Reach out to them, I'm sure they'll get you set.

Setting up front and rear mech’s

I find it helpful to set your limit screws before cables and chain as close as you can get. Then run your cables and get the slack out. Chain on last and just dial it in.

    Does anyone recognize this Dean?

What I mean by rich, is someone young enough to want to work at it, but wouldn’t draw a wage.

Most bike Coops or charities either run as (or should be running as) a not for profit organization, where auctioning off/ selling anything with decent value to keep the lights on, and paying non volunteer staff. There are a few chrities around here too that also collect and ship bikes to...

    Does anyone recognize this Dean?

My eventual goal is to open a bike Coop here, so everyone that wants a free bike can have one that's safe. I think that would solve a lot of the problems everyone has around here, including the problem of me finding these amazing bikes and ethically getting them into the hands of those who'd...

    Does anyone recognize this Dean?

I honestly thought about that too, but didn't feel right holding the bike for ransom. We have a massive homeless population that rely on bikes for transportation, and most don't have cell phones to contact anyway. It's amazing seeing some of the bikes they're rolling around on. I saw one dude...
