Nice one, it is a great addition to the fleet no doubt. There aren't that many about, especially in 653. It's the first biggun that I have also seen! It is a shame that the paint is ratty, but think of it as a blank canvas. You can get the exact replacement decals from H Lloyd if you need...

Super cool that, definitely Lee Cooper built looking at the brazing. larger ones are not that common and it’s a 653 version as well. The black XT chainset is worth at least half the asking price as well. Someone (tall) go get it :)

Still might struggle, in my eyes it is frame only with a few parts thrown in. Having said that, it could be well worth it if the (often dented) top tube is dent free, as it appears to be - I would want some drive side pictures though to be safe!

Looking nice that, the colour really pops! Always good to see a decent steel CX frame, especially something such as Orbit :) Personally I would have opted for white decals but the black does lend a kinda stealthy, more modern look. Will look forward to seeing what direction the build takes -...

I am 50:50 on this. I would love an early Yo, but agree the price is too strong. And those decals are shocking! I guess I’ll stick with my Wicked :)

TBF the forks and flip flop stem are well worth the effort, especially if you have an early Zaskar. Strip, paint gloss black and voila :)

Almost could be the makings of a killer build...that Surly fork needs ditching ASAP though. A couple of extra chainlinks woundn't go amiss either!

My goodness, the bike is even better in the new pictures! Could almost be mistaken for NOS if it wasn't for the add ons. Such a good score and I love how this has opened up such a cool back story. I can almost smell that classic bike shop aroma of tyres and oil through that picture :) Possibly...

Very well looked after indeed. Not a mark on those rims, original tyres, spoke protector still there and everything in top condition. My money is that it belongs to a wealthy chap who wanted to get into MTB, but never quite had the inclination to do so. These US built treks are also hugely...
