Its got a shim 600ax part where the handlebar stem enters the frame (technically known by me as that metal ring thingy). I think my dads mate must have just knocked it up using whatever he could find before passing it on to him.

Anyone got any good recommendations on the tubes and/or tyres? was thinking of getting them over the weekend.

Howdy folks, wonder if I could get some advice. I always used to bomb about on mountain bikes but recently I have got my hands on my dads old Raleigh Road Ace. Its hardly been used by him, its just been hanging in the garage so it seems as though it is pretty good condition apart from its tyres...
