Didn’t you play around with a green pair of Wildgrippers with this one. I actually think they worked, biscuit or white would be best imho (but the greens were cool too). Really like the Mk1 Crossmax….

Are they like the ones you get on disc frames that allow you to run a zip tie through (and then cut the zip tie). I wouldn’t mind those, I just don’t want an unsightly cable tie wrapped all the way around my top tube!

Only trouble with that is I’d have to disconnect the cable from the disc brake calliper (which could result in needing to bled it, which I absolutely do not want to do). Thanks

I just don’t like boots on any fork tbh, and I’m sure the gold stanchions wouldn’t look worse (imho). But it’s your bike man. 😆

Can anyone suggest a solution to stop my top tub routed brake cable pinging against my frame constantly. I drives me nuts when I am riding (sound of it). I don’t want to use zip ties as they look ugly and will ruin the clean looks. Would some clear frame protector tape reduce the noise or...

Yeah I think it all looks absolutely spot, I’d only make 2 minor changes 1. I’d remove the black rubber seals from the stanchions on the forks 2. As much I like the Moots seatpost and colour, I can’t get down with the seatback bit at the top But it’s still gorgeous! (Just like mine ☺️)

I do like the 1st gen Crossmax on them both though!!

I think it would look better with a black stem and seat post and bars and a different saddle (that’s what I did with mine to make the frame pop and components subtle). But I like the Race Face chainset
