Hi, great thanks. So it's a standard Aheadset, ball bearings are visible! I'll check dimensions. Question ... can I replace with a newer integrated headset? Or would that require new forks? Sorry, newbie question I'm sure.

Apart from the obvious answer which is to go my local bike shop ... I'd like to do it myself and save some £££ but don't know what part to buy ... I've got a Ridgeback Genesis Day 02 from 200? The headset bearings are mashed, rusty and missing balls! Crunchy. Anyone know what I should replace...

Re: Hi, I have a Klein Quantum ... currently complete but can disassemble. It's a 2000 I'm pretty sure but how do I check frame size? It's not my bike, inherited from my brother who sadly passed away over 10 years ago. Mike
