i think iv roughly worked out the difference between gen1 & 2 BigUn front. the gen1 hub required a bearing change to work with 20mm axle & the gen2 was desighned to switch between 20mm & QR from the box with no bearing change. no idea if this affected the 20mm adapter collar design though! if...

its the second time i been sent the adapters for a Bulb! the BigUn adapters push into & are located by the bearing rather than being held by an external circlip. the bearings in A BigUn have a bigger internal diameter than 20mm & the adapters push into them like the 15mm adapters for a modern...
Hey Tony i got the adapters you sent but sadly they are wrong ones. do you want me to send them back to you? i think they are for a Hope Bulb. thanks anyway!
i mean mounting yoke! no eggs were use to repair the shock! BETD made a replacement yoke wich was spot on. found out that BETD stock or can remake a few spares for GT full sus bikes of that era
outstanding! i recently rebuilt a rear shock for a GT LTS that was pretty mint apart from a bolt snapped off in the mounting yolk. hope works hectic for a good reason!
apologies tony. im happy to pay for parts &/or postage. Hope were my first port of call when i started on my search & they dont have them due partly to do with the hubs age but mainly because they have moved premises twice since producing the BigUn. thanks again
