Zolatone Pine Mountain found in Sydney (true story!)

Re: Shock Zolatone Pine Mountain find in Sydney (true story! nice! yes not a huge amount of good vintage here, the 80s and 90s were relatively low in numbers of people actually riding..and bikes from that era i reckon were simply just ridden into the ground! i know mine where anyway!

Yeti fro I think about 1988 just powdered

very nice! yes those tyres make it look very 'portly' if you are ridng it regularly, kenda makes some nice 1.9 tyres that visually look about the right size. they are on my '92 zaskar in the link below. vees might not be period but they work well. will be nice when you get some flat bars on it...

good laugh. i agree with all his points, he is right. for some reason though, as we know, collecting and riding these old parts is still fun, even if they don't work as well as the modern stuff

Control Tech Stem | Ahead | 135mm ish and 0 Degree

for the '94. i have some judy forks that have a longish steerer..that i can't bring myself to cut. the control tech being flat on top, allows me to run the stem low (which i like) and have the spacers on top. the syncros stems are cool and all, but that chisel cut top profile is really impractical..
