    Releigh Bebop - any info?

Thank you for the info. Would you be able to date it approximately? I don't know much about Raleigh range but would have thought that 1inch headset would be from late 80/early 90? But were all Raleighs not lugged then? Thanks, Marcin

    Releigh Bebop - any info?

Hello, I came across this frame for sale locally but can't find any info on it, despite looking in the archives. It is Raleigh Bebop - Tig welded frame, fastback stays, short horizontal dropout, 1'' head tube. Does anyone have an idea what year it could be? Any info on geometry? Thanks, Marcin...

Surly Cross Check - frame and fork 56cm

For sale is black frameset of Surly Cross Check - in black in good overall condition. I have had this bike since 2010 so some signs of paint wear are visible in particular around dropouts. Structurally the frame and fork is sound, no issues. Some more photos here...

Since coming to Retrobiking I've come to appreciate...

Well, arguably the invention of clutch mechanisms can be appreciated by anyone, no more slapping chain. The inventions are driven largely by the needs of racers (real or perceived) and trickle down the line so normal people get them eventually, whether they need it or not. Once the top level...

the unofficially cool MTB drop bar thread

That's very cool bike. Road shifters are not compatible with MTB front mechs. You will need road derraileur unfortunately. That made me chose bar end shifters for my built; F.Moser Pro Comp Ax, currently my favourite bike. Marcin

F.Moser Pro Comp Ax (yellow drop bar bike)

Thanks, Here are some pictures of the frame before painting: http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewto ... p;t=261027 Yeah, I am kind of ambivalent about the yellow post. I had a scratched white post that would look out of place so had it powdercoated with the frame. Cheers, Marcin
