The spec of these bikes is quite wayward. Perhaps cashflow prohibited big orders of components - most of the kit ended up being similar but not the same from bike to bike. Mine had a BE head tube decal and CE downtube decals :D

I think in the timeframe of the bikes here BE and CE would have been the same company.
