Re: Yes they are. Seems pretty odd for a frame of such an old age, but I'm not too clued up on bicycles in general. I'm a mechanic by trade, so can happily take them apart, but my knowledge on makes/models etc is lacking. Test me on a Nissan or Renault and I'll happily help!

Re: Hi, Thanks for the replies, certainly something to go on. It had 26" wheels on it, I'll measure the spacing tomorrow. I can squeeze a 700c wheel set on it, but the drop out slots aren't big enough to accept the hubs. I can get the hubs into the front section of the rear dropouts though...

Hi, currently trying to identify this frame. I'm just gathering bits to build it up, and it would be nice to try and find a make/model for it. From what I've found it potentially has Ekla lugs, and the rear dropouts are for an Osgear set up. The frame number is stamped on both rear dropouts...

Re: Got round to having another go with this. Picked up wheels, and watching some Campag parts on eBay. The bottom bracket has 'British Made' stamped on it, with the initials L.S next to it. The only image I can find of this is on a Flying Scot site, but it's not a Flying Scot. 69 is stamped on...

Re: Knew it wouldn't be a team bike, certainly not for the price! It rides beautifully, much much better than my previous Bianchi. Its completely silent when on the move, and the Mavic freewheel sounds great. Just need to match up the Centaur, match the seat post to the bars/stem and it's perfect.
