I did look at the 1990 Catalogue and it's a completely different colour scheme and it's not in the 86 Catalogue so narrows it down, I did see one tagged as 89 so close, although I did notice both wheels have been changed ;) But for now I'll use as is and gradually, as budget allows, put similar...

Thank you so much, I was going to look at some catalogues today so you kindly saved me the job, and personally think I would have removed some myself as the different typefaces does make it look 'messy' IMHO but nice to know what I'm working towards.

Picked this up earlier for £50 but as you can see the Model Decal is missing, it was bought like this previously so no info forthcoming there, plus it has upgrades so not sure what is original! I'm asking for curiosity and may put the Decal back on if I can get an I.D, once cleaned up, although...

Thanks for the input all, I'm lucky that within 30 minutes in any direction there's a Bike Shop of some kind so have a few options, as soon as I start work on it I'll take pics an start a new thread.

Forgot to add, clean it as well....The owner was a really nice guy who had it years but him and his wife bought new so was just sat in the hallway, he was happy to know it will be put back on the road and I said I'll update him when it is.

Thanks for the info, it's been a while since I rode on a regular basis, stopped when I was 36, some 29 yrs ago, I do own an MTB, a Hardtail and a Road Bike with Flat Bars which is a little too big for me! But don't use them on a regular basis as felt something wasn't right, this already feels...
