Here is my Marin bobcat trail . I purchased it a couple of years ago with intentions to rebuild . I have sx cantis and gearing just not actually started to do anything with it yet .I initially purchased because I liked the silver and blue combo

Other than needing some tlc it looks lovely

It was very easy to be honest I thought I’d be out on my arse first time but it’s good once you’re in it wraps around you like a cacoon the tarp hangs over quite a bit so keeps me dry I was out last week in the wind and rain I basically just hung everything low to the ground and it was great

Yes I use it as my bikepacking bike now as I have a gt tequesta for work . It rides great however obviously there’s only like 40/50mm travel it’s ok

I have an iPhone 13 and in camera mode there is a portrait mode with stage light setting I use that mode to get the photos

Thanks for the info . Yeah I’ve had these rims on quite a few bikes will change the crank when I one one I like but preferably stx to match the rest of the components

Hi I’m after some 26” rim brake wheels black rims with shimano lx m570 hubs (the blue grey) as cheap as possible as it’s for a build on a very tight budget not mega fussed if rims are silver but aesthetically would look better Thanks

Great build I’d love one I wouldn’t ride it but what a piece of wall art . For anyone else who has issues with elastomers I used an old spoke and bent the end int a hook . I’ve just put some manitou 4 forks on my kona
