Lovely, liked the blue ano on it. Those 105's are really good IMO. A prove you can have a reliable and useful piece without blowin' the budget sky high.
Liked it, but I have a soft spot for colourful things.
It's different from most of the bikes we se here and on the roads, kinda of annoys me the fact that everything nowadays is so black, white and grey.
I'd keep the way it is and enjoy being an oddball in the peloton (in the good sense...
Liked the original better, only because of the colours since I'm a fan of black and gold bikes. But I'm not a conservative myself, really fond of people who 'pimp' their own bike so it looks unique.
It's nice and you're happy with it, so I guess it's ok!
I have a similar 1986 ST 500 frame, it's sitting around the house waiting for the right parts and was wondering if I would have to go for 27 instead. Thanks man.
The forks resemble the ones I saw fitted on a Claud Butler Minstrel frame once, circa 1978/1979. Never heard of any relation 'tween the companies, though.
Some parts speak early 80's to me.
