    Greetings!

Welcome, Mark. I too am just getting back in to the scene & I'm really enjoying it too. Yes, I'm ancient (56) and not very fast but I love it and want to do a lot more! Regards, Joe.

Good for you, buddy. Give 'em a right royal roasting and make sure the shop is full when you do! I know that business' need to make money to survive but what he's doing is ridiculous! You're right about the idiot that would buy it too!

There are some terribly greedy folk out there. He deserves to go bust trying to rip people off like that. I just hope that no innocent kid buys trying to be cool with a retro bike and then finds out how much the bike is really worth. Welcome to rip-off Britain!

I'm 5ft. 10" so no problem. My Muddy is a Ranger Mega so it would go well with the Courier. Thanks for the AAEC thing too. Your friend, Joe.

Sounds excellent! Mines a Muddy Fox too but could do with an overhaul and a back brake! I'll have to see to it this next week. A Mongoose for under a £100??? Phew...lovely karma indeed Cheers, Joe. :D

Who would I be riding with? What fitness levels etc, etc? I wouldn't want to hold others back as I am ancient and decrepit!!! My bike isn't the best in the universe either. Bit like me, grumpy, old and knackered!!! :(

That sounds like a good idea. I'll have to get a little fitter before I go anywhere but I will keep it in mind. You are most kind!

You are right of course. Let the train take the strain! I was toying with the idea of going to Llandudno on the train and having a scoot around there when I get a little fitter - probably next year now. The train goes straight there from my local station and another goes straight to Chester so...

    SA 3 speed

It is a 1984 (84-11) 3 speed AW model. I will try and post pics but not very good at that sort of thing being very ancient. :( Where on Merseyside are you? I live in Newton -le- Willows.

Just found this thread - excellent. I love Muddy Foxes! I have a Muddy Fox Ranger Mega that I have been riding since it was new. Great machine and has never let me down. More info would be greatly appreciated on the Ranger if anyone has any? Cheers, Joe.
