Thanks mate :) I actually picked a Parkwood 27.5 frame for £50 today so following a few final touches I might actually stick the Trek up for sale! Feel bad as I've only been up the road on it, but spending time building it has kept me sane for the first few months since my little boy arrived...

Nice - really like that. Stick with U-brake if it works for you, makes the triple triangle look really clean (especially mins the front mech + cabling) I love an old GT, but if it means this actually gets ridden in anger, then I totally support a modern update :D
