    RH Stick shift front derailleur.

That'd never work. I think a daisy chain of telescopic back scratchers to connect to it has more potential

    Wanted 531 Mixte Bike Wanted.

Yes I somehow missed that when replying and thought it was just a frame wanted. Seat tube c to t is 55, other dimensions here under the geometry section: https://templecycles.com/products/step-through-lightweight

    Wanted 531 Mixte Bike Wanted.

If bristol is in range, it's not retro or 531 but somewhat classic: I've got a temple cycles 'classic lightweight step through' frame. It's large size (55cm) 520 steel, sealed headset. Currently built into a bike that has been something of a failure (not through the frame's fault) so I can...

3 Large Bags of Vintage & Classic Bike Parts

Ideally one day you'll be able to feed this image into an AI tool and it'll give you an itemised list of all the components in frame. Problem is AI only works on being fed what information is available, which is generally limited to what information is mainstream, which a misc bag of bits isn't.

    Vintage road bikes for sale

Carlton flyer and a curly hetchins, not to mention the nice hill special and an elswick with rather nice handlebars - that's a nice little mini stable! Good luck with the sale

    Old Carlton: Dropout/Wheel Size confusion.

What's the width of the dropouts? Iirc it should be 126mm, so if it's wider than that then it's definitely been re-sized or has bent in some way, though that wheel/hub looks original. Here's a photo of how it looks on my corsair which is a similar bike

Fat Hitting Belly Thigh 70's Fahrenheit Slog 52t 12 Cog

I think it's a retrobike post but with the human being the retro aspect rather than the machine

    Spotted on the street

Not a spotted on the street bicycle but more like the street itself, but quite liked the retro branding of this shop in Gibraltar

Callisto - home made path gravel tourer thing

That's a really nice unique build, the stem shifters look good - what's the stem collar adapter? Is it new or an adapted old part? I don't mind downtube shifters and see them as part of the fun of a vintage bike, but don't really ride with them often enough to really get used to them, though...

    Columbus steel Bianchi £30

I swear each time I see carlton corsair listed it's an even bigger frame size than the last

    small/medium Hirame / Kuwahara tourer - £85 BIN - Gloucs

I took the bait on this one as it wasn't too far to collect and eyeballing the listing I also thought it might be a larger sized frame - which it is luckily. 58cm approx. It's a bit of a mystery frames, the seller didn't really have any more info beyond what was in the listing as to its...

    Gold Colnago

Eagerly watching to see if there's money to be made doing this: if there is then next Christmas I'm going to collect all the quality street wrappers and pritt-stick them on to an old frame I've got lying around

Crusty Carlton Corsair - to save or not to save?

I think it's just the frame and brakes left before that corsair completes the ship of theseus challenge. Could form the basis of a fun town bike but I don't think it's worth trying to make it resemble a corsair again

Andy Powell / Overburys 531 road bike

It's a nice spot for a quiet photograph and to check cable tension, it'll be interesting to see how it all changes when the western harbour development happens. The short rake on the forks was one of the things that interested me enough to buy it, there's no chainstay bridge or mudguard eyes...
