The frame is stamped 131190033 followed by, on the line below, TVT55B. I believe the first numbers mean the frame was made on 13 Nov 1990 and it was the 33rd frame of the day. You would think that 55 refers to the frame size, but centre bottom broacket to top of seat lug measues 57cm. Or aprox...

Re: I chose the components that I liked best. Beauty, as they say, is in the eye of the beholder :) I'm not keen on splitting it at the present time, I'd like to keep it simple if I can, but thanks for asking.

You might be interested in looking at my TVT 92 which has only done 250 miles from new. (Because I had a bad accident shortly after buying it [on another bike] and had to give up riding) It's currently for sale on Ebay as I finally persuaded myself to part with it. It's a lovely bike to ride...
