Haven't been on here for ages but I thought someone might like this little beauty for their resident short-arse / child:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Gt-tempest-re ... 2a354fd7cc
And when I say little I mean it's about a 12" frame!
The photo isn't exactly square-on but you're right. I grabbed the pic, straightened it up then measured the angle down the fork and got 74.4°
The seller does state "the shock is also moveable so you can slacken the head angle", so that's a relief
Had this on my watch list for a little while as I have everything except a frame and fork ready for a nice retro build: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/261087051239? ... 1423.l2649
Looks like a cracking example and I'm not looking to profit on the finished bike, but is that price reasonable? is the...
Seller must have been pretty happy getting £290 for that frame. Before the price climbed I'd browsed his feedback and he'd sold this complete RC200 last Summer for £370. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... true&rt=nc
He got only £80 less for a bare frame. Just shows they're worth more...
Oh it was pretty terrible, a serious polish might have helped. Some of the paint had been touched up with a brush though, so it may just have come off!
It's been ages since I've been here but I thought I'd pop in and blatantly promote my little sale.
Main item is this RM Hammer frame from 1991. It's not had the easiest life and was originally listed with rubbish black paint, but now stripped and looking much better for it...
A friend offered me a carbon seatpin he'd cracked, and suggested I mount it together with my stripped saddle on a wooden plinth or something. Now I'm almost sad I got a starting bid!
Glad you like it anyway, it looks awesome on my Sanderson but my nearly-40-year-old butt needs something just...
So I haven't been on here since selling off my retro gear but I think my latest listing might be perfect for a lightweight build of any vintage:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... :MESELX:IT
What do you think? :D
Only just! It originally sold for it's reserve of £175 and the buyer asked for a month to pay! I re-listed it but it went nowhere (auction was ending shortly before Christmas by this time), so it ended up going to the original buyer.
The seller was a bit gutted because my 1995 Hahanna with...
Had to relist this as the buyer couldn't find the funds until Christmas
Oh well, here's another chance for any that missed it, only running for 7 days so there's time to get it delivered for Christmas
It's been a while since I posted here but I'm listing a Chromo Rockhopper for my best mate I thought I'd pop back.
It's the last of the steel ones which came canti-only and rigid in 2002 but is now wearing Bomber Z1s and Hope C2s courtesy of the Hope Universal Disk Adaptor. The frame, forks...
