Cheers for the measurement of the avid spacers, I'm going to get some anyway, and try them out along with adjusting the position of the brake pad , move it slightly nearer the tyre , might be enough to save a few mm, for every mm the pad moves the arm will move about 5mm

Here are two pictures of the brakes relaxed and pressed against the rim. The rim is running central through the forks and both brake arms are the the same angle when applied I think I might have a solution though, Avid disc calipers come with similar cupped shims but look a mm or two...

Just got a NOS set of these fantastic brakes , I'm trying to set them up but the rim appears a bit to wide. I have the thinner of the two cupped washer pairs on the inside of the arm, but theres not enough room for the pad. did shimano or any other source have thinner cupped washers, or is...
