Got some pike 409s on the way there brand new, but 2nd hand price.
One slight downside is they are black and would ideally have white. I don't suppose anybody has some white pike 300 or argyle lowers for sale? Might try and get some cheap lowers of ebay and respray them.
Yeah the zero stacks seem to come in at 10-12 mm, so assuming i get a 35mm stem im then only 2mm short which is acceptable.
But not sure if using a tiny XC headset is a great idea on a 4x bike.
Current headset: FSA Pig DH Pro 31mm stack height
Current stem: Revell BMW 27mm stack height
really the stem needs replacing to something like a 35-40mm stack height so fighting a losing battle.
Slack is good ;)
Doh! My steerer tube is 15mm too short, so I need some forks pronto! Can't afford to buy 831s really, so anybody got some 2nd hand forks that would be suitable?
Im thinking maybe Pike 434s with the air spring option.
Need 100-120mm travel
Strong, but light is always...
To begin with Im having to use what parts I have.
That means 2001 Marzocchi Z3 100s in silver (that was the first year they had the power wrap M arch), and Funn wheelset in black. There from my hardtail dual slalom bike, but they are far from my ideal.
The only period fork Im considering...
Well the original Tazer I was going to get fell through due to the shipping costs, but I have just got my hands on a frame
Going to start by building it up with the parts from my jump bike, but then I need to look for some suitable light weight 4x wheels and some plush 100-140mm travel forks.
I am trying to buy a Dorado single clamp fork for my freeride/Duel Slalom Bike.
The forks were from 2002-2004 and are in keeping with the age of my Intense Tazer FS. The Dorados are 130mm travel. I am not interested in the shivers or any alternatives at the moment.
I will pay in the region...
Excellent Stewie!
I'll keep my eye out for a source that sells back orders, but otherwise I'll send you a message if I really can't find a copy to buy.
Thanks
Hi guys, Ive just purchased an Intese Tazer FS 2nd hand and want to build it up with all the parts I always wanted, but could never afford new.
^On its way from America
The frame is a black 2003 Intense Tazer with the FSR suspension geometry. Ive wanted one since 2001 and never really...
OK shot in the dark here.
In 2001 maybe 2002 I read a review in dirt on the Revell 24" and 26" jump bikes. It impressed me so much a rang the number in the article and bought the actual bike that had been tested!
Does anybody know which issue it was as I would love to get a copy to keep...
