I seem to have an issue with the 'dog collar' cable stay at the back... the rear brake doesnt run flush and the collar seems to be missing something. Did the 92 model have a taily looking thing attached that made the cables run flush to the back of the bike?

Looking at buying a NOS front mech as an an upgrade for this... the guy says it's designed for 31.8 tubing? What are the dimensions for a 92 cindercone? ta

Yes has all the components... though my dia comp brake is on the front. Suntour xc ltd on back... trans-x handlebars though, sounds a little too man in high heels to me. These have been swapped out but think other than the perishables, everything is spec including the murray boottle cage...

Got this today eventually :-) a little confused though, looking at the 1992 catalogue, the components, color, frame decals... are the same, only difference is the project two forks have the 1993 decals and there is an extra race light frame decal... is a lovely bike but was just wondering if...
