I'll bump this for ya...as I am interested in these as well. My '88 era frame doesn't have rack mounts and i'll be needing panniers early next year and would love to know how good these are.

    1992 Proflex 752 seatpost size?

my 1993 proflex 953 seatpost is 28.6mm. last number denoted year 752 = 1992, 753 = 1993. as far as i can tell the first number just represented how high up the foodchain the bike was. the 953 didn't have a component 'group' it was a bit of this and a bit of that...ringle, white industries...

    Truvative Firex GXP BB

you can do what you want with the spacers, as long as you can get it to snug up properly with no play and conversly it doesnt bind because you have removed the spacers. I've had to run one of those cranks with the 3 spacers on the non drive side. sounds like you will have to run all 3 spacers...

    mid 90s cannondale cranks/rings

i think BBB do a 22 or 24 granny. the race face rings should fit as i am running suntour microdrive outer and middle rings and a buzzsaw granny on my turbine cranks. as long as the BCD is correct you should be able to mix 'n' match rings to your hearts content. you'll be fine with the 22...

Tech Question Re: Mechs on Proflex Beast.....

i used a common old normal lx bottom pull on my 95 proflex....interesting to note that the subtly changed the angle of the seat tube on the '96 ones for better Fd operation/compatibility

    Proflex Swingarm Pivot Tension......

proflex instructions say that the swing arm should fall under its own weight

    show us your Rocky Mountains!

If anyone gets the one on ebay....lose the judy xl. they break the headtube off very easily if used with anything over 80-90mm forks...seen 2 of them do it, other weak spot is the seat tube...people run the post above the weld on the seattube/toptube junction and it snaps that bit off easily...
