    Absolutely no problem with using a stem with a 2 bolt, or 4 bolt, handlebar clamp. It's been the standard now for many years.

    Agree an 88 Pine Mountain I would say as.well. To my knowledge the team was only first released in the 89 line up and that was with a non lugged frame.     there is an easy way to tell if these are an 89 or 90 I believe. 89 was straight bladed forks and 90 curved. I've got a 90 the same as yours.
