    Ok so mine is a 1990 then. Definitely doesn’t have a u brake! Actually saying that where was the u brake mounted on an 89 down the bottom or in the conventional place like my 91 zaskar?

    Now you have posted this I need to get mine built up! Can you tell which year is which? Mine has polished crank and silver chain rings but I really want a black crank or chain rings to match the brakes.

    I would put the original stem back on and l have the original saddle too..shocks are rock Shox quadra 10 which came on it from new hence the FS name. I also have the original Brahma bars or it can go with the flat bar.
