thanks for help guys i sprayed and left it soaking in wd 40 still had to use a 2ft leverage bar to undo the bottom brkt was solid rust new one coming next week

thanks guys im going to have to get a long hollow bar pipe on the socket bar to give me more leverage i take it the bottom bracket is only removable from the driveside is that correct

im having trouble removing driveside bottom bracket retaining ring ive read to undo it you turn clockwise....but this is solid so to check im turning the right way is it clockwise with bike upside down resting on saddle and handlebars or is it clockwise when bike is standing with wheels on...
