No, not really - ideally steel and probably lower down the pecking order- Hahanna, lava dome, cindercone, fire mountain ....

Shame i didn't see said auction and I'd have bought this for my lad...just needs to be £100 cheaper in my humble opinion. 14" higher end konas are pretty rare though.
