Shimano STX Crankset and Front Mech, SRAM 7.0 Rear Mech

Hi All, I have been stripping down a DBR V-Link on and off recently, and have finally removed the drivetrain, so I thought I would post here for someone who will appreciate and use these parts instead of posting on eBay etc! :) The bike wasn't used for about the past 5 years as the frame had...

    Calling all Diamond Back experts...

Re: Hi Alex, Good call. The seller may have looked up recent DB stuff and found it was owned by Raleigh and then assumed and so on... Anyway, this Topanga was back in the day when DB's were actually very good and still (as far as I know) independently owned! But the Topanga was never a top...

Re: Hi All, Here are some pics in case anyone can help... I'm starting to think that the frame may be a throw-away job and I strip and sell the parts... :( Thanks

    Calling all Diamond Back experts...

Re: Hi there, I may be a little bit rusty with my Diamondback knowledge, but I know for sure there is no way this Topanga was made in the UK! It looks to me like a 96 model, but it may be 95; def. not 97 as they changed the downtube decals. These were made in China, but the sticker should...

    Diamondback / DBR V-Link help...

Hi, No pics right now but I'll take some :) It's a 96 or 97; I thought all the rear suspension linkages were the same on these models, and the travel started changing on the V6, V10 models in 98/99. Thanks for the reply.

    Diamondback / DBR V-Link help...

Hi everyone, I bought a DBR V-Link on ebay a number of years ago with the plan of upgrading everything, then my situation in life changed... so it sat idle for about 5 years... Anyway, so now I am actually putting it together and have noticed some cracks on the swingarm just behind the BB...

Info on Old Skool Look MTB clipless pedals please

Interesting... Well sure, you can make me an offer. I know I'm up against it without cleats. However the deal killer may be that I'm in Australia, and postage may cost a bit, as they are not a super light pedal...

The dreaded stuck seatpost thread #574

Following on from last post: I agree with the upside down bike in vice method. But if you mash the head of the seatpost in the vice (which I've done before), saw it off as close to the frame as you can, then put a spoke down there to see how far it goes down. My method of choice is a...
