This has been a long and fruitless quest (so far) to find out why the chain/pedals skip when applying pressure on the downward stroke. I changed over all components and built a single speed a bit of and match then the last two componets placed on a Marin Pine , the rear mech exage 500 and rear...

Need a front mech for a marin pine 1992 Has to be bottom pull, 31.8 and for a 7 speed cassette. Tried putting on my front mech from my dynatech but its tooooo small so need a 31.8 FM similar to the exage 500 old mech I had... Many thanks :)
