Must admit I hate the "nag" software too. TouchBB doesn't have a "nag" feature and works with phpBB2 and 3. Tapatalk can have the "nag" feature removed when you install the script on the forum.

It's unlikely that it'll fit on any steel frame unfortunately. I bought one on spec for my Marin steel frame in the hope that I could make it fit but gave up on it in the end. It needs a LARGE flat dropout area to work.
