    Pace RC200 F5- age ?

Cheers too, I was also wondering what year mine was built. The F6's changed to the 1 1/8 headtube, right?

Raleigh Dyna Tech appreciation and information thread

It'll be a couple of weeks before I'm up in Dublin for weekend, but I'll give you a bit of notice beforehand. I did try Raleigh U.K about the warranty and they put me onto Raleigh Ireland, but they say no

My Titanium Solaris ('92 model, but bought in '95 as a new old stock frame and forks) was still been used ( off -road trails) until August 08. Then this happened while on Derroura :( Luckily, it failed when I was on the climb up, 5 minutes later I would have been on the long decent on...

    Clicky saddle syndrome ,fixable?

How about head gasket silicon into where the rails go, it might dampen the click a bit. No smell off it compared to normal silicon.

    Manitou Allen Key

A thin steel bar ( not much thicker than the allen key) bend a short 90 degree bend at the top as a handle, cut it a few inches longer than the fork Cut the head off on the right size allen key ( get a quality brand one ) and weld/braze onto the end of the bar. That's what I got made up...

A mate of mine has a 21" Ravine from the same year, unused and kept in doors. I must put it back together and give a polish ! He also had a Raleigh Decade, 16" in fairly good condition which got nicked :x  He always got bike sizes wrong  1st and 2nd bikes, he got the 3rd bike...

The brochure I have is 1993, I don't have a '94 one though :( Re: Exage LT at a guess, it would be like the STX group which came afterwards. The 4 Altus groups C20,C10,A20,A10 replaced the older Exage 100-400 groups and Exage LT replaced the Exage 500. I might have the Exage 100-500 groups...

    fitting V-brakes to a 91 Kona

Why not run a full length outer casing from the lever to the brake, held with cable ties to the frame for the moment. Not pretty, but it would keep you going till you get a clamp bracket or a stop welded on.

Can someone date my M-Trax Ti then ?

I think they were trying to get rid of all the bonded Dyna-tech/M-Trax framesets. Hence why the paint jobs were nearly the same on the 94 and 95 models.

Can someone date my M-Trax Ti then ?

Whooppie  it's actually a '95, I didn't think I had the brochure, but I've just found it. Original spec had the Ti 40 bonded fork, a rebranded U.G.L.I fork from the '94 Dynatechs.
