Could anyone guess a date for this pretty old Edison cyclo-cross machine?

Yup, that's my position. I sold a Hetchins recently tho and it appeared that their fan boys could narrow down the date to a few days by the lugs :)

Could anyone guess a date for this pretty old Edison cyclo-cross machine?

Thanks, yeah she's pretty eh. I've just found there's an 80s road frame on Ebay that looks pretty similar so I now guess 80s, tho the lugs on this look older to me, who knows very little about such things...

Could anyone guess a date for this pretty old Edison cyclo-cross machine?

Firstly - where does one post cyclo-cross questions around here?! MTB or road? I'm clear it's not BMX at least :) Anyway, how old does anyone think this is? I've ruined it with modern bits of course, sorry about that. It's still pretty tho, right? I've seen the post on here about the other...

These have both now gone to a new home now. Thank you for all the feedback and interest! We don't get many old gems like these but you should swing by our workshop if you're in the area [Brighton] as we get lots of generous donations. See www.cranks.org.uk for more into. Cheers!

2 x Unidentified ratty Cannondales - anyone want these?

I'm really not keen to post because A. I don't really have the time and I hate packaging bikes. and B. I fear the condition isn't completely clear from the photos and my descriptions and I don't want the buyer to be disappointed when they arrive. But if you make me an offer I can't refuse, then...

Is it just me? I'm getting emails saying I've had replies on here, but they're not showing up? I thought they were DMs but it says I have no conversations when I click on the little envelope at top. What am I missing?

I'd characterise the paint as white and salmon in real life. It could have faded I suppose but it's faded very consistently if so... The bars are same colour as the decals.

2 x Unidentified ratty Cannondales - anyone want these?

Here's the other one. Pretty similar age I'd say, and more complete obviously. We'd want a bit more money for this one as e.g. the wheels and biopace cranks have value to us as we could use them rebuilds. Similarly I can't see a model number. I love the forks but they're pretty rusty. Are they...

It's a 24" frame, to top of seat tube, and the stem isn't seized. Takes 27.2mm seatpost.

Howdy Retro Bike Nerds. We have had a couple of tasty old, buy pretty ratty Cannondale framesets donated. They're too far gone for it to worth us rebuilding but it'd break our collective hearts to scrap them. Would they be of any use to anyone? They're at Cranks Bikes in Sunny Brighton. I'm not...
