Mtrax ti 2000 I spoke to a frame repair company yesterday and they said powder coating should be fine as it only reaches 200c and bonding will need much higher temps to melt. Mine is going in for blasting and may risk the powder coating. What do you think?

ti 2000 Wow My ti2000 is currently in bits. I am trying to find somewhere to get it resprayed! I need a set of transfers as well. Happy to buy a set if you get them sorted. Can you sandblast a ti frame?

Ideas Please Hi All Ti2000 now on the road, still lots to do but it is starting to look good. Any ideas on the frame, some of the laquer has peeled on the crossbar. What is the best way to restore it. I would like to save the original paintwork if poss and just strip laquer off and replace...

New Chain Hi All The ti2000 is coming along well, and I am now working on cleaning up the gears and making sure they are all in order. I need to get a new chain as the old one was knackered! Gears are Shimano STX RC can anyone help with what spec chain I should be looking for? Thanks :D

STX RC Brakes Hi All Forks are done, wheels cleaned up new tyres and inners. Now starting to reassemble front brakes. I have got STX RC brakes and pads are fixed on by a bolt with two thick, shaped washers. Can these be replaced? if so where can I buy them?

Here is a picture of the forks all cleaned, new top seals and elastomers, greased and ready to go. On to the gears next Shimano STX Hyperdrive C. Cleaning wheels over weekend and fitting new tyres. What do I need to do to the headset. Do I need to remove the bearings clean and regrease?

Ok will start on that. How do I identify what gear set I have? By the way have to say Tim at ForkEnglish is a top bloke. Very helpful and happy to assist if you want to do work yourself.

Hi There. Just bought an Mtrax ti2000 as a project. Never rebuilt a bike before but have just succesfully restored the RC35 Forks. They look like new. Not sure what I should start on next. Got to fit new tyres and then on to the Gears any ideas what I need to do with these? Shimano STX 21 speed...
