Thanks for the TimeSert link crum, looks worth investigating. On first impressions it looks like that might be the first choice, followed by the framesaver insert. Anyone else used the Time Sert method?

To cut a long story short, I've discovered that around 1/3rd of the threads on the hanger of my beloved sunn have become stripped. Most of them are still there but enough have gone so that I can't tighten the mech on fully- hence it will not shift correctly. Searching around on here has been...

hey neil, these might be useful for me- can you tell me what the a-c length is please? Also- is that a disc mount I spy? Do you know if it is an IS mount or another (weird) one- I remember sunn experimenting with some non-standard mounts a while back. Thanks, c_p

Hi, just reading the above- I had a lovely delivery of a frame today from welshben, so I'd imagine your bits (whatever they were) will be on their way. I hope so anyway. :)

Well I usually ride mine with either Pace rigid RC30s or RC31s (and sometimes RC39s (with 100mm travel)) so it's not really a comfort or weight issue. The obsys forks don't often come out of the garage I'm afraid.
