I am not sure of the exact date of this bike but would say somewhere in the late 70's to early 80's.
The bike is totally original with the exception of having a pair of brand new aluminium wheel, tyres and freewheel. The saddle has also been replaced with a modern looking one!

I've actually got two bikes with these fitted.
1st bike has old chrome steel wheels, I've got a new freewheel on its way for the new rear wheel.
2nd bike, have cleaned up the freewheel. Freewheel removal is on hold for this.

This is on hold at the moment as I have managed to clean it well enough without removing it.
Looking online, I can pick up a new 5 cog freewheel AND tool for the price of that tool.

Came up with a rather un-elegant solution to the front forks brake block alignment issue.
I crudely fabricated two drop brackets out of some ali bar, bolted them through the forks and bolted the caliper through below the fork crown. I also used some ali tube to act as a spacer so the drop...

I've sourced a few and they are all in the region of £20 to £25.
Not worth it for something i'll only use once. A new cog set plus tool can be had for about £10.
I'll take the wheel in if needs be and hopefully get it done for 'a drink'
