I just bought a coda road crankset. Previous owner said it came off a caad4 frame however I found no clue on them on the net. Vintage cannondale catalogs did not help either so your wisdom will really be appreciated. Regards.

Re: I had the steel frame lower end version of that bike for some time. A simple and effective FS design from that era. Achilles heel was not the front sus or worn out rear linkage bushes similiar to the bikes from that time but the false design of rear suspension unit fixture. Rear sus unit...

Re: It can be done but safety can never be guaranteed. It is better to get a steer extender instead. Comes in various sizes and most importantly reversible.

Re: Actually in the first run the spring was very loose and the moment I braked, it folded in and this action made the front wheel lock. However even a small jump from the curb made me tip over again and this had nothing to do with the brake or the locking front wheel (I guess). It was sunset...

I replaced the marzocchi xc500 on my litespeed obed f/s with a noleen lte crosslink just to see how it differs from traditional forks. Before installing I gave the lte a full maintenance lubing bushings etc and left the spring on the shock loose (still compressing but on the very soft side)...

Bells are fine, I like the small ones with a single ding.
