depending what you want it for... I've got one but it's suffered from overtightening/overloading - there's distortion and some tiny cracks around spoke holes. And significant rim wear, even allowing for the FIR 'shoulder'. Looks ok from a distance and the decals are good, but I wouldn't want...

very nice. I think I'm right in saying these FIR rims have a pronounced lip on the shoulder of the braking surface. If you're not used to it, it can look like there's a scary amount of wear (concave), even from new. On the other hand, of course, they could be knackered :lol:

Someone may have already pointed this out, but in principle this (and the muddy fox version) looks very similar to the Citroen 2CV suspension. Don't know if that influence was suggested or acknowledged at the time - marketing-wise, it may not have been a great connection to make...

my P7 has been on michelin wild run'r 1.4 for a year now. I'm very pleased with them - good value for about 14 quid.
