Just found this thread - glad you're pleased with the bike - wish I'd kept that saddle now! My new 'Rockhopper' came with a white leather pain inducer !
. . . sorry if you've been waiting for more info about me boxing this bike, but I've been very busy at work & home and haven't had chance to skulk around in Halfrauds bins to look for something suitable . . . .
* watch this space !
Frame is 19in from middle of bottom bracket to top of seat post.
If I have to box it up, then the price will have to go up, going to be a bit of a ball ache I reckon, but will try out the back of my local Halfords tomorrow and see if I can find a suitable box.

New swanky mountain bike, means my old faithful bike has to go.
I *think* it's at least 20 years old.
Has period parts such as a Girvin Flexstem (see photo).
Handbuilt Mavic wheels, built by J N Cowley of Northallerton...
I just read through your thread with your stable listed and saw the same bike in unmolested condition. The decals were on the bike when I got it, so I just left them there.
I *have* no idea what it's worth, but have enjoyed you bandying around figures in the £80 range . . . £100 would be nice...
