Re: Shaun Thanks for reply, I reckon you might be right. If so not sure that I will ever be able to identify the maker, with no makers marks, have checked the normal places, bottom bracket, dropouts, seat tube, etc . Think I will just find a decent set of vintage french wheels and ride it...

Hi there Picked up a nice old frame built up with lovely Simplex Super LJ gearing, Stronglight 105 drilled crankset, Mafac 2000 brakes and Atax Proffessional handlebars. Frame has heart shaped cut out lugs,Reynolds 531 frame and forks, Simplex dropouts and chromed rear quarter. No identifying...

Re: Agree, it is an interesting one, have spent many hours trying to find similar head lug on internet. The down tube braze ons are odd, to be honest quite clunky when compared with the rest of the frame. Haven't been able to find campagnolo stamp or any other maker on dropouts but respray...

Hi there, new to forum so apologies if I have posted in wrong place. I have a frame which I am struggling to identify, it has a serial number on bottom bracket which is the number 22 over the number 4809, it also has unusual drilled lugs and co2 bosses on frame. Seems to be a pretty nice frame...
