Re: Thread resurrection I recently finished building this Schwinn cruiser. Chicago built frame from 1975. Brought over by my brother to the UK where they are quite rare. Was rather rusty so I had it blasted and powdercoated. I added some Schwinn decals last week, no pics of that yet

Re: Here are my 2. '96 approx BackTrax '91 approx TuffTrax or it could be an Eiger. I built both of these starting with the frames. I spent a while slowly acquiring parts and added them as and when. The TuffTrax started as a rusty white frame without any decals. I have posted it...

Re: Interesting. Thanks for the reply. The frame is now at my local powder coaters for a shot blast and refinish. I chose a sort of light green colour ( I think) Let's see how it looks when I get it back.

Re: I have a feeling you are right, it's not something really nice, like a Kili It feels quite heavy to me. But I am a newbie when it comes to old MTBs. ( if that makes sense Lol)
