Thanks folks.
And I agree Look were very boring with their Keo colors, especially considering their previous Delta range come in every color under the sun, perfect.for matchy matchy bike builds 😀
I've just converted my 1995 Pinarello Team Mercatone Uno lo-pro from bullhorn set up to full aero bars set up.
The aerobar is I think the same one used by the team back then, an ITM Dual, which looks like something Luke Skywalker would fly and I love it, looks fast standing still...which could...
Hawkeyes indeed :)
I had a go using phone AI to get rid of some rubbish graff on the left that distracted from the main image. The main image is of course not AI generated but soon it will be hard to tell the difference.
Slight positional tweak and gave it a pic with some all black tyres and the pink lettering Shamals that probably suit the bike a bit better....
...which also gave me a chance to try those other Shamals with my chrome-rich Bottecchia, for some more summer dazzle...
Thanks, yes they are in great condition and i got a good deal on them, quite rare to come by such a nice pair in clincher form these days.
I've always had a love for those wheels, as you know as ive and bought some from you before :)

Bike is great but I'm a Columbus Max fork fanboy and had a spare one that i thought would marginally improve front end stiffness and handling and greatly improve the looks over the original imo.
Problem was steerer was too long and when cut the thread was too short. This pic shows what needed...
Unfortunately I got no reply from Martelly, so as yet no one wants to claim they made this beautiful frame
I still think Martelly/Martens are the most likely makers.
I'm sure the reason it has no tubing decal is because the frame is a mix of tubing. I measured the diameter of the main frame...
Modern aero bikes may be marginally quicker but thats way down the list of priorities for most.
More importantly they all look like they fell out of the ugly tree smashing their face on every branch on the way down, and I'm not spending my hard earned money and time building up a dogs dinner...
Yes it's a 58cm which is at the smaller end of bikes I can ride comfortably. Love is blind and lower back issues are further down the road :)
Also means the traditional stumpy Campag alu aero post won't be long enough so I'll have to use one of the longer posts from my other bikes. The alu...
