Hi all As I can't find much info on my holdsworth bike I acquired I thought I would strip the frame and repray it in the original team colours, orange. Does anyone know the nearest colour to that orange using today's modern car sprays? For me the original silver is not striking enough. Andrew

So I am really non the wiser with regards this bike. The universal brakes puts it around 1969 - 1976 but the Shimano Biopace chainset is around 1983. The frame is a complete mystery to me as none of the advertised Holdsworth frames in the online catalogues look like this one. Completely...

wheels are 27". So would it be best to find all period stuff and restore it to original. Wheels seem from a later age too? Andrew

So the levers and crank could have been added at a later date? They seem to be 'modern' for the rest of the old Campy stuff Andrew

Why use old style brakes with 'new' shimano crank? Seems to be a mish mash of different era equipment Andrew
