https://i.imgur.com/xQANjPZ.jpg That's the shock. It can fit an uncompressed 120mm spring completely open by the looks of it.   Ideally 550+ x 2.3 or so.  Having a hard time finding anything so if anyone can point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated! Cheers.

Currently building a 1x9 conversion and having some serious gearing issues. I'm using the m950 with a brand new 9 speed deore shifter. The pull ratios seem to be off by miles. I'm getting through the entire casette in 7 shifts. Have the ratios changed over the years? Is the derailleur 8...

Re: Ok thanks. I did think it was something to do with the front mech but because it's a downhill frame i went against it. There's no obvious way of taking it all apart to check for bushings or bearings so assume I'm going to have to knock that cylinder out somehow. Doesn't look like it'll be...

I'll consider anything and everything as long as it's pretty cheap. I'm doing this rebuild on a really tight budget as I've booked a few holidays ;)
