    I think a fair bit of the avenue vert is open but just not publicised as yet, os you'd have to grope your way around. The bit around Crawley sounds dreadful

    Quite like the idea of tandems but have never ridden one before :) I can see 50 riders all dressed as Abraham Lincoln! I dont know why but that sprung to mind ... all on penny farthings as well
