Thanks Mr Toad To be honest I never thought of this route, but I was going to get the frame clear coated by our local VW restoration man who also has a alloy wheel refurbing business. Best have a chat with him.

Good evening everybody So, after owning a 96' nickel finish P7 from new it's time to do the right thing and bring it back up to scratch. I've cleaned up all the frame corrosion with silver foil, Autosol and elbow grease and the frame has come up great but has left pitting which I'm not happy...
