I just measured the fork tube. It's Internal Diameter is 16.5mm. External diameter is 22.2mm. Anyone out there ever tried changing the original stem without changing the fork? What type of stem do you guys recommend then? I've been told by my LBS that there're no stem available that can fit...
So GT Seven, no idea how it's done fir tge T26? Maybe using shims, like you've suggested might do the trick. But then it leaves me with only choice but to get tbose clip on types of stems....
